Festival of Business returns for a second year!

Festival of Business aims to kick-start 2018

January can often be a quiet month as businesses recover from the Christmas and New Year sales, and the rest of us nurse our hangovers and get over the shock of the festive credit card bills. In 2018, however, Hounslow Chamber of Commerce aims to kick-start 2018 with the return of the Festival of Business at Hilton Syon Park on 8th February.

The festival is a business-to-business expo for companies across Hounslow and West London. Hounslow Chamber’s chief executive, Stephen Fry said: “We are delighted to be returning for the second year with the Festival of Business as an exciting initiative to promote business in Hounslow and West London. We have hundreds and hundreds of brilliant companies in Hounslow and we want to give them the opportunity to meet one another, showcase their products and services and provide valuable opportunities for supply chain development”.

“The Festival, which is an all-day event, won’t be a soulless expo with rows of badly thought out stands. What you will find is a hive of creativity, ideas and inspiration to help grow your business. If you’re a fully-fledged business, in the early stages of starting one, or are a buyer for a company you will find a wealth of reputable and highly-skilled suppliers all under one roof”.

The festival begins with a VIP breakfast, followed by the formal opening of the expo at 10am. Keynote speakers will be on hand throughout the day to inspire visitors as they share their stories for success and an outdoor vehicle display from manufacturers including Lexus and Toyota will also feature as part of the day’s activities.

The Festival of Business is being organised in partnership with FHW Events & Marketing, the publishers of out&about. Isabella Harding, FHW’s events director, said: “We hope businesses across Hounslow will visit the Festival of Business again this year; stands are available from just £195 + VAT, and it is free to attend as a visitor. Put the date in your diary now and come and see us in February”.
